The Financial Analyst primarily supports the reporting, analysis and communication of actual financial performance and forecast outlook for technology projects. In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for providing a wide scope of financial information and insights to technology management and business unit. Works with and educates project managers in financial management, develops budgets and forecasts for technology projects and statement of work. Maintains and monitors Technology Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s). 



  • Serve as Finance Analyst/Lead on technology projects.
  • Provide financial support on project approval process, variance report and research against budget/forecasts. 
  • Provide financial support as required updates of contract vs. negotiated pricing models during gap analysis.
  • Augment other teams in Lottery Technology with ad hoc or periodic tasks. 
  • Collaborate with business finance, regional account team and PMO.
  • Identify areas where cost improvements can be realized and assist in the implementation of such programs to affect cost improvements.  
  • Leads the monthly close process, understands variances between actuals vs. forecast/budget pertaining to labor and non-labor trends, ability to deliver high quality analysis independently, leveraging spreadsheet and other quantitative tools.

  • 1-4 years of job-related experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
  • MBA or other finance related certification a plus.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, ability to manipulate data extracts using Excel vlookup, pivot, sumif etc.
  • Data science a plus, Tableau, Power Query, Power BI
  • A plus if knowledge in Cloud FinOps i.e. showbacks/chargebacks
  • Motivated self-starter with capacity to manage multiple priorities
  • Understanding of and adherence to Accounting policies and SOX controls.
