Responsibilities

Summary

This position supports the Land Based Gaming R&D Finance group and will primarily assist other team members with the tasks necessary to produce and support financial forecasts. This includes developing and maintaining reporting for the R&D organization.  In addition, the role does have some primary P&L support responsibility for products, working in conjunction with direct leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Provide the financial skills, knowledge, and tools necessary to analyze, communicate and assist with the financial forecasting of several segments of the Land Based Gaming R&D group. Variance analysis: Actuals to forecast, actuals to budget, actuals to prior year.
  • Provide financial support on project approval process & spend.
  • Analyze data to arrive at relevant trends that can be presented to Senior leadership to improve operating practices
  • Assist in the development and improvement of systems and tools
  • Prepare monthly product reports to support the Product, Development and Technology organizations
  • Educate management at all levels on financial measurements and analysis
  • Requires interaction and coordination with various functional areas within the Company
  • Maintain good communication with business partners
  • Use available tools, data, and systems to streamline forecasting and variance analysis processes. Communicate with Accounting to understand drivers of variances.

Qualifications

  •  2+ years of job-related experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related area required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI required
  • Experience in SAP & BPC, preferred
  • Technical competence and willingness to learn new technologies and software applications
  • Motivated self-starter with capacity to manage multiple priorities in a high-paced environment
  • Effective time management skills. Complete tasks and goals established by direct leadership
  • Ability to work remotely depending on company needs.
  • Results-oriented with ability to deliver high-quality work product.
