OVERALL OBJECTIVE & PURPOSE

The Strategic Accounts Associate will actively participate and support in the determination, design, and execution of business strategies and plans to drive profitability, operational efficiencies and stakeholder relationship management (internal and external) for the site operations.  

 

Support the General Manager on assigned projects, reporting and communication related but not limited to the following:

• Mobile Gaming and Interactive Lottery Gaming   

• Ongoing business analysis and evaluations  

• Project management and implementation  

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Executes research projects, market and customer assessments to identify and support business development opportunities, improve overall operations and customer experience

• Support the coordination and execution of the site business continuity plan and other emergency management activities, including but not limited to stakeholder communication

• Support the planning and execution of strategies related to contract renewals for the lottery and commercial services business

• Work alongside various departments and stakeholders to support retail agent channel management throughoptimization of new agent evaluation process and trade executions  

• Monitor the external business environment and prepare weekly executive updates on legal, commercial, political, technical and other strategic considerations that can impact the business

• Execute, analyze, and report on plans/ initiatives geared towards attaining sales and revenue goals and business development opportunities in collaboration with various functional departments (sales, marketing, legal, compliance, finance, P&T) 

• Develop, coordinate and support the execution of a communication roadmap aimed to strengthen and improve the relationship between IGT and the NLCB management team

• Support the development of feasibility studies and overseeing of implementation plans for assigned projects

• Prepare presentations for senior management

• Support the Compliance Officer (CO) in the maintenance of the site‘s AML/CFT programme

• Support the CO in the execution of risk assessments

• Provide input in reports to required internal and external stakeholders

• Perform the duties of the CO during prolonged absences by the CO

REQUIREMENTS

ACADEMIC BACKGROUND

• Master’s degree in marketing, Business, or another related field 

• Experience in project management will be an asset

EXPERIENCE

• Proven experience as a business manager or relevant role

• 3-4 years’ experience in Marketing, Business, or another related field

• Strong computer literacy skills with experience using MS Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) 

• Professional attitude with outstanding business etiquette, networking, negotiation, interpersonal and communication skills (verbal, written, presentation, business reporting, public speaking)  

• Focused, disciplined and self-motivated, with a positive attitude and proactive, solution-based approach to problem solving in high-pressure situations  

• Keen attention to detail and accepts ownership and accountability  

• Creative, out of the box thinker, with a natural passion and drive for excellence 

• Ability to train, coach, mentor, and committed to knowledge sharing

• Genuinely demonstrates a high level of integrity and maintains confidentiality of information acquired on the job

• Thorough understanding of diverse business processes and strategy development 

• Flexible to work extended hours based on business needs
