Over view

The Sales Manager position drives strategic business development and Sales opportunities across different countries

The position is focused on longer term business development objectives for Other Africa for small and large deals with an extended, multi-year sales cycle.

Responsibilities

Grow, build, strengthen and lead existing relationships with gaming operators, where the relationship is critical to the success of IGT and the customer
Design and implement a comprehensive growth strategy for Other Africa
Responsible for creating an annual Strategic account acquisition plan and strategy
Responsible for creating an annual displacement/replacement account plan and strategy
Responsible for creating an annual Budget plan and strategy for Other Africa
Plans own territory or account approach and manages own resources
Create new customer relationships & drive new business
Responsible for sales forecasts, goals and strategies
To ensure that all efforts are made to achieve Quarterly and Yearly Sales Targets by making use of the support provided by internal departments and or persons
Regularly assesses the trends and competitive positioning of IGT’s products
Understands casino market needs and requirements and be able to guide to a streamlined product introduction, approval, selling process
Coordinates with marketing, sales, and technology groups to implement IGT’s business development strategies and initiatives

    Preferred Education and Experience:

    Minimum five years direct Casino Management experience or 10 years indirect sales experience (ex: via Cabinet and Software Sales Account Manager Role)
    Has a deep understanding of the Casino Operations, EGM Hardware and Software placed in the marketplace (business and financial, competition, macro, and micro trends)


    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS (IF APPLICABLE):

    Travel as required to meet business objectives, travel to open countries in other Africa up to 50% - 75% during certain time periods of the sales cycle
    Some potential Strategic customer targets have broad geographic areas
