IGT is the world leader in the design, development and manufacture of gaming, lottery products and systems.  IGT Australia is a dominant force in Australia and New Zealand, and we provide a range of gaming and lottery products, systems, and services.

We are looking for a State Sales Manager to support our Queensland region. As a State Sales Manager, you’ll plan, direct, and control the sales business strategies and activities for Queensland to achieve revenue, sales, and profit targets.

You will be responsible for:

  • Lead the QLD Sales team and provide the inspiration for the department to excel in all that they do.
  • Maintain a thorough and up-to-date knowledge of all gaming activities in an environment where there are multiple projects to be across at the one time.
  • Maintain a thorough and up-to-date knowledge of new products, industry developments and innovations whilst ensuring that existing projects and activities are managed appropriately.
  • Act as a liaison point for various stakeholders which require making decisions in the best interest of IGTA where there may be competing priorities.
  • Direct the activities of the QLD sales group for the achievement of short and long-term business objectives, increased profit, and market share.
  • Champion and be an expert user of SFDC for the QLD region

Required skills and attributes:


  • Diploma or Bachelor of Business or related field or its equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.

Skills & Attributes

  • Demonstrated high level skills in the following areas: leadership, negotiation, communication, influencing, coaching, relationship management, business, strategic and project management skills.
  • Well-developed business and financial acumen for effective financial planning and product forecasting.
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills.
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with customers.


  • Five years in a B2B premium product-based sales environment.
  • Extensive working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
  • Proven track record of obtaining results in a sales environment.
  • Knowledge and understanding of appropriate gaming industry and business legislation.
