Responsibilities

 

CANDIDATE MUST LIVE IN OR NEAR MADISON, WI.

 

Generates test documentation and executes tests to verify that the system performs as required. Works independently, and is the primary contact with development services. Organizes, designs test plans, directs, and assists in all the activities required for the test effort.    


 
Duties and Responsibilities:


•    Develops test documentation, performs tests, and provides project reports
•    Assists with requirements verification, planning, and review
•    Maintain site QA and CAT systems; assist with DEV system as required
•    Project SW install planning, testing, and implementing on the live production systems
•    Participates in project meetings and meetings with the client
•    Face to face interaction with the client while running the CAT period
•    Applies principles and techniques to evaluate systems during development and system test
•    Recording, reporting, and tracking defects to accurately depict the status of the system
•    Recommends continuous improvements within the Central Control System.
•    Ensures data integrity by evaluating and recommending appropriate software and hardware solutions
•    Consults with management and staff regarding development, testing and installation problems or malfunctions and recommends solutions
•    Create and test terminal application installs on Lottery Vending Machines
•    Limited mobile application and API testing
 

Qualifications

 

•    A college degree, or equivalent, in a technical field, preferably computer science.
•    4 -7 years experience in testing environment
•    Strong understanding of the software development life cycle and methodologies
•    Proficiency in a Linux environment via CLI
•    Db2/CLP - ability to connect to and run simple queries against a DB
•    Proficient in MS windows and office

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $38,281 - $156,700. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.
