Introduction

IGT is the world leader in the design, development and manufacture of gaming, lottery products and systems.  IGT Australia is a dominant force in Australia and New Zealand, and we provide a range of gaming and lottery products, systems, and services.

An opportunity exists for an experienced and enthusiastic salesperson to join our NSW Sales team covering the NSW Central Coast region, which also involves some regional travel. This role requires the successful candidate to build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders within the gaming industry whilst maintaining and growing market share in a highly competitive and capped market.

You will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining strong relationships with existing customers whilst identifying and developing relationships with new customers.
  • Achieving hotel and club units, and revenue sales budgets.
  • Uncovering customer's business concerns and opportunities, and utilising this information to provide customers with an IGT business solution that will meet their needs.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of IGT's products and services whilst keeping abreast of competitors' products and services and gaming industry developments.
  • Maintaining strong working relationships with sales management, sales administration staff, marketing staff, customer service staff as well as internal and external customers.

Required skills and attributes:

  • Minimum of three years in a B2B premium product-based sales environment, plus a proven track record of obtaining sales results.
  • Proven sales ability including outstanding negotiation skills, persuasive ability and highly developed communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with customers.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
  • Driver’s licence and willingness to frequently drive to and within territory
