Responsibilities
IGT is searching for a Game Designer who is passionate about developing games to join our collaborative team of game developers, working within our Sydney based team. This team is responsible for the creation of new and exciting game concepts. Within this role you will work closely with software engineers and artists to produce and maintain high quality games.
A Game Designer is at the heart of what we do, and responsible for creating the inner core of slot games.
Responsibilities:
- Working with producers, software engineers and other creatives to ensure the best possible games are delivered.
- Use off the shelf and custom tools to create game math and logic.
- Reviews and validating other people's designs and calculations to ensure that the highest standards are met.
- Utilizing advanced game design and mathematical skills to create multiple assigned games, focusing on the core of slot games.
- Create and maintain game design documents to ensure smooth delivery of games through the pipeline.
Qualifications
Experience and Education:
- Bachelor's degree; an advanced degree is preferred with a focus on Computer Science and/or Math.
- Preferred experience working as a game designer in casino gaming industry.
- Preferred having developed software, with a focus on game simulation.
