Role overview:

As an IT Operations Analyst, you will independently support and maintain  customer production and test environemetns in working condition. In addition you will support delivery of projects, both to internal and external customers.

Main activities:

  • Provide operations mentoring and support to customer's IT systems operations staff where required.
  • Provide first-and second level operations support for customer production and test envirenements
  • Respond accordingly during system emergencies to minimize financial penalties.
  • Contribute to maintain Customer Acceptance Tests (CAT) environments in Operational Conditions.
  • Ensuring the coordinations of the approval, integration, and deployment of  applications to facilitate the transition from Project to Production state.
  • Incident management: investigate incidents in produciton and  CAT environments, develop incident reports and other follow-up with the customer on daily bases, working mainly with remote SW engineers.(Inccident ownership)
  • Make recommendations regarding improvments for operating systems, software, infrastrucutre and procedures.
  • Prepare and verify Computer Operations documentation and checklists.
  • Service Providers Management: verify external providers charges against signed contracts.
  • Interface with Services Project Manager and customer staff as appropriate during projects.
  • Process Draw base games draws
  • Performe independatly disaster recovery procedures (Failerovers, Takeovers)
  • Provide support to QA and CAT phases of projects.
  • Provide support to CAT software security patching activities.
  • Perform specialist training as required.


  • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience with System administration and a customer support. 
  • Must be competent in key areas such as Linux/Windows/SQL. Knowledge of ITIL practices is a plus.
  • Experience with lottery systems or equivalent is a must.
  • Analytical skills and mindset are a must.
  • Experience in project delivery.
  • Knowledge of databases, system security and troubleshooting.
  • Understanding of business practices.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Problem-solving aptitude.
  • Aptitude working with cross-functional Teams


  • Fluent in English a must
  • Fluent in French (nice to have)
  • Minimum education: Bachelor degree in Computer Science or equivalent experiance

  • .Must be flexible, autonomous, take initiatives, stress resistant, capable of prioritizing tasks & manage constant changes and multiple different tasks, able to work with remote teams
