Overview


This position is critical to the modernization of IGT Systems’ Casino Management System (“CMS”) product portfolio.  


A successful candidate will work externally with potential and existing Advantage CMS customers to determine prioritized system needs and aspirations. The candidate will conduct discovery meetings with a variety of personnel levels within the target company. A successful discovery meeting results in a clear articulation of the target company’s pain points and goals. The primary emphasis in this role is discovery related to slot operations and finance, including slot analytics. Onsite visits to target company locations to gather additional information is required. Competitor product evaluation and casino industry regional and national trends analysis are also required.


This role will work internally with R&D, Product Management, and other teams to ensure IGT’s CMS products address critical market needs and are built with best-in-class technologies, while maintaining a clear vision of the Product Management’s priorities and the roadmap.  


Expectations for the position include the candidate being comfortable in a business environment and the ability to present information to all levels of the customer’s enterprise. The candidate should be motivated, self-managing and professional. Clear communication and documentation are critical for success at this stage.

Requirements


•    Preference is given to casino industry experience, with an emphasis on individuals responsible for slot operations and/or slot finance/analytics at a senior (Director) level
•    Bachelor’s degree in a technology related field or relevant combinations of education and experience
•    Minimum 5 years of work experience in the IT industry within or outside of the gaming industry
•    Recognized as an expert in slot operations and/or slot finance/analytics
•    Ability to conduct in-depth discovery interviews with a variety of levels with a casino organization
•    Ability to professionally articulate the results of discovery interviews into product requirements and features for internal IGT stakeholders
•    Ability to communicate discovery interview-generated solutions during customer Sales Demos, presentations, or trade shows
•    Experience with directly interacting with customers and providing solutions 
•    Must be able to foster positive relationships with all areas of the IGT organization including Sales, R&D, Product Management, Support & Installation Services and Customer Success 
•    Ability to think critically and provide recommendations based on facts and experience
•    Strong written and verbal communication skills are required as the position is customer-facing in nature
•    Must be proficient in Microsoft Power Point, Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word
•    Travel as required to meet business objectives, often up to 50% during certain time periods 
      o    Some potential customer targets have broad geographical areas
•    Able to pack and carry sales collateral material (up to 20 pounds)
•    Able to stand during interview, presentations or discovery activities for extended periods of time (4 – 6 hours)

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $71,000-$165,000. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.

 

Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program.  Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses.
