Overview
The Security Systems Engineer reports directly to the Senior Director, Security & Risk. The Security Systems Engineer is an integral part of the Physical Security team. The Security Systems Engineer manages and oversee the general maintenance and administration of IGT’s global physical security infrastructure. They will work in pioneering process improvements and architectural concepts that drive infrastructure growth for the business. They are responsible for management of outside security vendors.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the integrity and security of all physical security system solutions
- Recommends physical security technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes; identifying problems; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements.
- Accomplishes financial objectives by forecasting requirements; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective action.
- Responsible for adherence to corporate departmental policies, procedures and standards (including design and coding standards)

- Oversee and perform user management activities to include systems user accounts, authentication and group management audits.
- Manage daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes.
- Manage projects and the installation of new servers, rebuild existing servers and workstations.
- Configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, etc. in accordance with standard requirements.
- Manage and perform system software upgrades including planning / scheduling, testing, and coordination.
- Perform data backups and recoveries as part of Disaster Recover Continuity.
- Provides after hours support as required.
- Potential to perform additional duties as requested.
- Oversee other special projects and strategic initiatives that Security & Risk becomes involved with
- Position requires travel
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in I.T, Computer Science, or related field; or equivalent experience
Preferred Experience & Skills
- 5+ years of dedicated physical security systems integration to include:

- DMP Alarm Systems
- Milestone Camera System
- Hirsch or similar access control system
- Aiphone Intercoms
- Door hardware (Secure Keyways)
- 2+ years of leadership, or project management role
Certifications and Skills
- Virtualization technologies i.e. VMware ESXi, Horizon VDI
- Windows 10
- Windows Server 2012 R2/2016 R2/2019
- Advanced troubleshooting skills in multi-user high-pressure environment
- Asset Management
- Business Continuity
- Change Control Management
- Disaster Recovery Planning and Implementation
- Project Planning/Management of cross-team initiatives

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $55,177 - $156,700 The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.
Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses .
