Summary
As a leader in the casino gaming industry, IGT is looking for a talented individual to take on a role of a Cloud Network Engineer who is passionate about superior customer service focused on IGT’s next generation Cloud/WAN/LAN Managed Services. If you thrive on providing optimum levels of customer service while dealing with cutting edge technology, then this position is for you.
The Cloud Network Engineer is responsible for the design and development of network builds, scripts, installation procedures, and systems including source code control and issue tracking. Provide communication and collaboration between software development and infrastructure teams. As a member of the Cloud team, the Network Engineer plays a key role in the success of IGT implementations. The role is responsible for end-to-end stability, performance, tuning of IGT applications stack in various cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
The ideal candidate will understand many of the following resources: administering, configuring, and maintaining network systems and communications, Windows OS, VMware configurations, and will be able to develop numerous solutions to support industry standards using various techniques and procedures.
Responsibilities
- The Cloud Network Engineer builds and supports Customer Cloud systems.
- Plans, designs and implements network solutions for our cloud customers connecting their On-Premises systems to the cloud.
- Supports/troubleshoots network issues and coordinates with vendors, customers, and internal resources for installation of such items as routers and switches.
- Works on project implementation.
- Provides training and assists with proposal writing.
- Conducts project planning, cost analysis and vendor comparisons.
- Experience configuring and managing switches, routers, and firewalls; solving WAN connectivity issues
- Maintaining current knowledge and understanding of security and networking best practices to offer the best solutions and protection to company systems
- Ability to document, track, and monitor various issues using applicable systems and tools
- Coordinate with other teams or specialists to resolve an issue
- Responsible for the resolution of escalated issues of higher difficulty
- Ability to train, coach, or assist less experienced team members with various tasks, projects, or other matters that may be on going within the organization
- Ability to work independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function
- Ability to partake in a 24x7 rotation while supporting the various applications that are used within the department

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $55,177 - $156,700. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.
Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses .
