Responsibilities


The Sports Betting Business Intelligence analyst will partner with multiple internal and external stakeholders to provide effective support and strategic guidance for customer and product performances, competitive intelligence, market outlook and trends and product positioning. The incumbent will leverage analytics on how to capitalize on opportunities. This position involves comprehensive customer and product performance analytics, ad hoc analysis, financial modeling and standard reporting to Sports Betting leadership, together with executive level presentations. This position will also partner with Finance to provide consolidated business segment reporting. Ultimate scope and objective are to gain insight into business performance, support fact-driven decisions, and communicate opportunities for sustained improvement. More specifically, the incumbent is expected to understand the alignment between business strategy and process/information requirements, and encompass such endeavors such as ideation, project definition, hypothesis formulation, business case development, and options assessment and recommendations in order to improve customer service, reduce cost and risk and improve cash flow generation.

Responsibilities

* Presents findings on product placement and performances
* Assists the business and support units with various analysis or planning requirements and periodic analysis of variances against budgets and forecasts
* Creates custom presentation decks and schedules to senior/executive leadership on customer and product performance / KPIs dashboards
* Manages data flow/input into organizational SQL database from corporate systems for reporting
* Consolidates business segment reporting
* Identifies and interprets trends and patterns in datasets to locate influences
* Constructs KPIs, recommendations and strategic/tactical plans based on business data and market knowledge for recurring business team meetings and ad hoc requests
* Produces datasets and reports for analysis using system reporting tools
* Develops business and financial models and scenario buildings to support decision making
* May provide consultation to users and lead cross-functional teams to address business issues
* Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
* Acts as the segment point of contact / expert for the business intelligence
* Interprets internal/external business challenges and best practices to recommend improvements
* Solves complex problems; takes a broad perspective to identify innovative solutions
* Occasionally leads project across multiple functions within the Sports Betting segment

Qualifications

* Minimum 3+ year’s experience required
* Bachelor’s Degree with major in Business, Finance, or Accounting required
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Preferred Qualifications
* Strong foundational knowledge of P&L and Cash Flow
* Solid project management skills
* Experience with SQL/Access/VBA/Tableau/SalesForce a plus
* Experience with SAP/Business Warehouse a plus
