Overview
This role is responsible for strategically designing teams, best practices, and developmental tools for staff to ensure that all aspects of manufacturing are at optimum efficiency. Manufacturing operations includes press, packaging, prepress, quality, software, security, shipping, scheduling, maintenance and engineering. Provides direction on new business development, product innovations, growth and expansion. This role is also responsible for assisting in the research and study of future integration with partners or additional printing operations.
Responsibilities
• Overall responsibility for all manufacturing operations
• Provides overall direction and guidance to the activities of the organization with the objective of maximizing growth and profitability as well as day-to-day leadership.
• Implements programs to ensure efficiencies and workflow to support growth and profit.
• Provides direction and structure for operating units.
• Implements improved processes and management methods to generate higher ROI and workflow optimization.
• Provides mentoring and guidance to subordinates and other employees.
• Plans, organizes, directs, and controls the activities of the Operations function of the division
• Reviews and approves adequate plans for the control of planned outputs, budget spending, labor efficiency, material efficiency, engineering effectiveness
• Reviews performance against operating plans and standards. Provides reports to subordinates on interpretation of results and approves changes in direction of plans.
• Reviews and approves cost control reports, cost estimates, and manpower and facilities requirements forecasts.
• Reviews capital projects involving major functional changes within the Department's functional areas.
• Reviews and approves the implementation of organizational plans that support the business forecast.
• Maintains appropriate communications within area of responsibility.
• Coordinates activities of assigned units with those of other company units. Seeks mutual agreement on problems involving coordination.
• Consults with all segments of management responsible for policy or action. Ensures compliance within area of responsibility. Makes recommendations for improving effectiveness of policies and procedures.
• Ensures that duties, responsibilities, and authority and accountability of all direct subordinates are defined and understood.
• Follow all Company policies, procedures and rules related to Information Security, Quality and Environmental.
Qualifications
• Preferred include Experience with lottery industry and instant ticket printing manufacturing
• Demonstrated knowledge of process reengineering, and subsequent automation, based on the use of key performance indicators

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $132,000 - $250,500. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.
Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses .
