Overview

IGT is seeking a Printing Press Production Manager in Lakeland, FL! This Production Manager leads all aspects of the Press Operations. It will lead all aspects of the shift efficiency, goals, projects, and process improvements. The person in this role will handle the activities relating to the execution of production, staffing, cost management, and quality standards. Lakeland is a high-speed printing and packaging operation. We supply instant scratch lottery tickets to players around the world! Please Note: This is a 6pm-6am shift

Responsibilities

  • Lead Production/Press teams to ensure safe, efficient, and productive operations.
  • Deliver performance evaluations, focusing on strengths, growth areas, and aligning with company goals.
  • Hire, train, and mentor staff, fostering a culture of growth and collaboration.
  • Resolve operational issues, minimizing disruptions and maintaining workflows.
  • Provide training to employees and consultants, ensuring readiness and excellence.
  • Ensure workplace safety and compliance with health regulations.
  • Represent the company to customers and the community, promoting its values.
  • Adhere to Federal, State, Local, ISO, and company safety and quality policies.
  • Develop and manage a skilled team to meet or exceed objectives.
  • Track performance data, optimize resource usage, and control costs effectively.
  • Collaborate with the Packaging Manager to align resources with production schedules.
  • Troubleshoot issues, ensuring product quality and equipment efficiency.
  • Partner with Maintenance to uphold equipment integrity and resolve issues.
  • Drive improvements in processes, quality, and cost-efficiency.
  • Maintain detailed reports and align metrics with company goals.

Qualifications

Education Required

5+ years in a leadership role with confirmed levels of growing responsibility

3+ years in a production/printing or manufacturing environment, or other related experience in high-speed packaging to demonstrate technical expertise to handle operation Skills Require

 

Education, Experience or Skills

Bachelor’s degree or experience in a related field 

Flexographic or Offset printing experience required

Knowledge of environmental regulations, health standards and safety compliance within a manufacturing environment to include familiarity with OSHA and safety regulations

Ability to perform tasks that include frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, climbing stairs and/or kneeling Preferred 

 

Management - Skilled in the leadership of the press/printing operation. Cross-over responsibility for packaging operations

Manufacturing - Knowledge of raw materials, methods, tools and processes involved in the packaging

Engineering and Technology - Knowledge of the practical application of technologies used in high-speed printing

Microsoft Office - Intermediate level or higher

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $60,989 - $200,500. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.

 

Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program.  Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses .  In addition, we offer employees a 401(k) Savings Plan with Company contributions, health, dental, and vision insurance, life, accident, and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, wellness programs, and identity theft insurance.
