Summary
Provide all levels of equipment and facility maintenance. Support the production teams to maintain efficiency and run time.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Safely analyze and troubleshoot electrical problems, including but not limited to power circuits, relay logic systems, computer-based controls, PLC controlled and facility related systems
- Interpret schematic drawings, diagrams and printed instructions to calibrate, troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical, instrumentation, and control problems
- Proactively support a Preventative and Predictive Maintenance culture
- Safely perform mechanical and electrical tasks
- Safety is a primary focus with work in a team environment
- Understand/use specialized tools to check tolerances and run out of precision parts
- Use arc welder to make repairs, fabricate parts and build minor structure
- Understands and uses voltage/amperage meters and oscilloscope to troubleshoot electrical equipment
- Interfaces with supervisors and pressmen to coordinate/schedule
- Uses CMMS database to research repair/maintenance history of machines
- Assists in all building repairs and maintenance as needed to complete work order and activity sheets
- Use lathe to quickly fabricate parts; operates forklift and manlift/cherry picker
- Be available for working after hours or weekend as needed
- Follow all ISO practices and procedures
Requirements

Education Required (high school, college degree, training, or certifications requirements)
- High School diploma or equivalent
Experience Required (years of experience, specific industry or previous job experience requirements)
- Minimum 3 years experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Strong experience in mechanical and some industrial instrumentation and controls
Skills
Skills Required (software, technical, industry, equipment, lifting, and physical requirements)
- Must be able to stand for 10-12 hour shifts with lifting to 50 lbs. periodically throughout shift
- Able to bend, stoop, climb stairs, kneel as needed to perform work
- Strong hands-on experience in industrial instrumentation and controls equipment such as; electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic, AC/DC/Servo motor controls, drives and/or PLC’s programming
- Excellent customer service values and results-oriented
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot issues, recommend actions and work as a team
Preferred Education, Experience or Skills (preferred degree(s), software, experience, equipment, etc)
- Associates degree or technical school graduate in industrial electronics a plus
- Printing or Packaging equipment maintenance experience highly desired
- Experience on repairing Kodak Versamark imaging equipment a plus
- Experience with AutoCAD drawing software is a plus
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude, fabrication, and welding experience is a plus

The estimated starting compensation range is $__14.47____ - $__31.01_____. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.
