Join the WINNING TEAM at IGT Global and join our state of the art flexographic printing operations in Lakeland, FL. IGT is a world leader in lottery instant ticket printing. We offer an exciting opportunity to be part of this amazing industry. Anyone with previous high speed printing will be considered. If you have other high speed manufacturing related experience, please apply! We have multiple positions available, both day and night shifts as well! The shift would include at least one Saturday or Sunday in the weekly shift schedule. The Press Operator works as part of a Press Team for the support and operation of the flexographic presses under the guidance of the Press Lead and Press Lead Backup.
Responsibilities
- Reviews and interprets information on job-sheets and ensures proper set up of the press
- Select proper Anilox rolls, printing stock and print sleeves
- Prepare ink vats in proper order to match print deck location and ink up press
- Check quality specifications
- Place roll tags on rolls
- Responsible for ensuring the press units are operating efficiently while producing product that conforms to quality standards
- Records and tracks all footage printed, pounds of ink used and quality samples
- Mounts printing plates, adds ink, adjusts PH and viscosity of ink to maintain conformity and quality
- May mix ink for custom colors as needed
- Constantly monitors web inspection cameras and strobes to ensure print quality is meeting requirements
- Responsible for adjusting plates and impression to ensure quality and proper registration
- Load and unload print sleeves from press and storage rack, and rolls of material from press
- During print, operate the un-wider and loading rolls of substrate
Qualifications

Education Required
- High school diploma or equivalent
Skills Required
- 2+ years of related mechanical, manufacturing and/or printing experience
- Must be able to stand/walk up to 12 hours on shift
- Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds occasionally during the shift
- Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, squat, push, pull, and twist at torso as needed to perform work
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word & Excel)
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Able to follow detailed processes and procedures related to facility operations
Preferred Education, Experience or Skills
- Knowledge of flexographic press operations preferred

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $20.00 - $28.00. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.
Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses .
