OVERALL OBJECTIVE AND PURPOSE

Supervise and plan receival/delivery of inbound/outbound shipments. All incoming stock movement and receipt should be tracked, managed, and recorded. Systematic put away of stock items. Picking and organisation of outbound shipments to ensure maximum level of efficiency. Ensure accurate and damage-free shipping inbound/outbound. Conduct frequent spot counts and provide weekly/monthly inventory reports to management. Continuous Logistics & Supply Chain Management revision to ensure procedures are current.

Responsible for day-to-day activities of the warehouse inclusive of parts ordering, inventory management/control, distribution, property management, receiving/distributing, records management, reporting, audits, maintenance, administrative duties in accordance with general accepted standards, government regulations and IGT standards.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

1. Supervise, oversee, and approve Receival & Distribution of all goods within the Warehouse. Record stock movement accurately into the system.

2. Supervise and participate in updating inventory records to accurately reflect stock movements.

3. Establish and monitor stock levels.

4. Ensure that Safety Procedures pertaining to Warehouse Management are maintained.

5. Ensure Warehouse is efficiently organised and properly maintained.

6. Ensure all inventory is accurately tagged/labelled and placed on correct location, physically and in inventory system.

7. Maintain accurate stock rotation i.e., Expiry Date, Serial #, FIFO method.

8. Efficient Supervision of staff.

9. Report on any case of safety hazards e.g., fire, equipment misuse, etc.

10. Ensure Security of all company, supplier & customer assets in and outside of Warehouse.

11. Approve all stock received and ensure that they are of the required quality and quantity, including Goods Returned from customers/retailers.

12. Initiate and participate in stock counts as is required.

13. Reconcile physical stock counts to quantities on inventory system. Account and provide formal report explaining all variance.

14. Monitor all activities within the Warehouse to ensure observance of rules and regulations.  Report breaches as they occur.

15. Compile and review weekly & monthly reports and ensure timeliness and accuracy.

16. Record and report all losses due to damage, pilferage, or other factors.

17. Conduct performance appraisals of Direct Reports at required intervals. Assign relevant training to warehouse staff to ensure career development, and support with business requirements.

18. Responsible for Parts Ordering, Inventory Control, Logistics and Supply Chain Planning for Consumables, Instant games, providing feedback on MRP for effective stock ordering.

19. Ensure that consumables, instant games are ordered, shipped, and maintained at reasonable and or agreed levels to ensure that Agents are properly stocked

20. Ensure that equipment spares are ordered, shipped, and maintained at reasonable and or agreed levels to ensure that Technicians can carry out necessary repairs

21. Review/implement policies and procedures to eliminate variances. 

22. Ensure all Inventory related documents are filed properly.

23. Prevent unauthorised access to Warehouse.

24. Internet access is required to facilitate remote working when the need arises

25. Perform other related duties assigned from time to time.

REQUIREMENTS

ACADEMIC BACKGROUND

• Diploma In Business Management, Supply Chain Management or Equivalent

• 5 cxc Subjects

EXPERIENCE

• 3-5 Years’ Experience in Warehousing / Logistics Environment

• Experience in SAP Application or similar accounting application is an asset

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

■ In depth knowledge of computerized and manual inventory management systems.

■ Sound knowledge of safety procedures applicable to the Distribution Centre.

■ Proficient in the use of Computers & Microsoft Suite Applications.

■ Good oral and written communication skills.

■ Good supervisory and human relations skills.

■ Willing and able to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity, and rapid change.

■ Accepts new assignments, challenges, and change in a positive manner.

■ Ability to mentor, coach, and lead warehouse staff to achieve organizational and departmental objectives in an assigned timely manner.
