Overall objective & Purpose

Properly maintains and services IGT equipment at Retailer (Customer) locations.

Responds to dispatches for resolution of Retailer issues, maintains, installs, removes and or repairs lottery equipment 

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for transporting, installing (if applicable), and maintaining IGT equipment, replacement parts, tools, and other equipment in an organized and structured manner.
  • Provides preventative and corrective maintenance to IGT’s equipment at retailer locations within Jamaica.
  • In conjunction with Comms Tech solves communication problems at retailer locations.
  • Evaluate and grade new and existing sites in accordance with established practices and directives from IGT.
  • Promptly remove and relocate IGT equipment and peripherals at retailer locations.
  • Maintain inventory of equipment and its location in the corresponding area of the division.
  • Assists and answers inquiries from retailers on policies and procedures related to Lottery programs.
  • Assists in the implementation of activities aimed at increasing Agent sales for all Lottery Products.
  • Delivers in the most detailed, punctual and effective manner all requested / required forms and reports
  • Accurately record and report in a timely manner in accordance with established and required manner / medium all field activities.
  • Adhere to IGT's vehicle policy regarding the use and maintenance of the company vehicle; this includes performing scheduled preventative maintenance activities.

Qualifications

Specify the general and specific knowledge for the development of the functions of the position

  • Technician’s Certificate in Electronics/Telecommunications field
  • Good social skills
  • Minimum of at least one year’s work experience in related field
  • Have a valid General Driver’s License and a good driving record
  • Be able to climb a ladder, lift and carry equipment weighing up to fifty (50) pounds
  • Ability to use, repair and maintain machines and tools
  • A good knowledge of the roads and districts in Jamaica
