Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Internal Sales Trainer to join our team. This role requires a minimum of 75% travel and field time as the candidate will be responsible for on-boarding new lottery sales representatives and developing/training current lottery sales representatives in the north region. The north region is made up of five districts that cover west, north/central, and east Texas. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of training and developing sales representatives and a strong understanding of successful sales processes that increase sales revenue.


  • Travel throughout the north region to on-board new lottery sales representatives.
  • Develops individual coaching plans as required.
  • Provides resources and assistance as required.
  • Schedules ride-alongs to ensure sales representatives have required product knowledge.
  • Train lottery sales representatives utilizing the IGT automated sales tool Sales Wizard that is provided to all lottery sales representatives through Surface Pro tablet computers.
  • Product training in lottery scratch and draw categories.
  • Evaluate sales execution at retail for both new and current lottery sales representatives. 
  • Provide ongoing training and development to sales representatives to improve their performance.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of sales representatives and provide feedback and coaching.
  • Provide feedback and evaluations to the regional sales manager and district sales managers.
  • Develop and implement sales training programs to meet the needs of the organization.


  • Demonstrated experience and track record of training and developing sales representatives.
  • Work experience in the retail industry.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Requires a minimum of 75% travel within region.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $37,500 - $115,500. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.
