Responsibilities

IGT is in search of a bold and dedicated Driver for a temporary 12-month contract in our Transportation/Shipping sector, based in Sacramento, CA. This outstanding opportunity allows you to support field service operations, lead inventory, and ensure flawless equipment delivery. Your role will be crucial in ensuring our lottery equipment and parts are handled and delivered successfully, allowing us to continue providing outstanding service to our clients.

Vehicle

  •     Deliver and/or remove lottery equipment from/to retail sites and alternate warehouses.
  •     Ensure the Field Service box truck is maintained and kept clean.
  •     Verify that all equipment related to deliveries is maintained and in working condition.
  •     75% travel between local IGT sites; 75+% operating machinery/vehicle.
  •     Load and unload terminals and supplies for distribution.

Parts and Inventory Duties

  •     Collect, evaluate, and separate all parts dropped off by Field Service Technicians.
  •     Perform weekly inventory counts and prepare monthly inventory reports on all FS inventory.
  •     Record and track all parts orders.
  •     Order parts for any project-related work.
  •     Assemble and prioritize parts for any project-related work, including for 3rd party installers.
  •     Complete vital paperwork associated with transfers from warehouse.
  •     Verify delivery receipts as needed for incoming/outgoing deliveries.
  •     Perform minor preventative maintenance on forklift and transport vehicles.
  •     Perform general maintenance duties as required.
  •     Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

 

Qualifications

 

Physical Requirements

  •     Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 75 lbs and maneuver machines up to 825 lbs with assistance from industrial-grade lift apparatus.
  •     Ability to operate a forklift and pallet jack.
  •     Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a good driving record. Must be able to drive a 26ft box truck frequently; CDL is not required.

Minimum Education

  •     High school degree or equivalent experience required.

Years Experience

  •     One or more years of related work experience.

  •     Ability to work independently and remain self-motivated.

  •     Excellent communication skills, including establishing relationships, collaborating with others, and maintaining integrity in interactions with others.

  •     Ability to adjust to multiple demands, shift priorities, stay focused, and perform well under pressure.

  •     Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $45,594 - $62,858. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.

 

Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program.  Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses .  In addition, we offer employees a 401(k) Savings Plan with Company contributions, health, dental, and vision insurance, life, accident, and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, wellness programs, and identity theft insurance.
