Responsible for planning and carrying out activities related to LAN/WAN monitoring, operations, and maintenance.  Additional responsibilities include the installation and support of the hardware infrastructure, software infrastructure, systems security, peripherals, Multi Terminal Site Controller (MTSC) staging, deployment, and software releases.

Work Location:
This is a hybrid role based in Downtown Boston with the expectation to be onsite 50% (not remote eligible).


> Responsible for installation, configuration, and maintenance of the Central Monitoring System environment.
> Assist the System Administrator with workstation, laptop, and server administration setups.
> Provides accurate, timely and creative solutions to end user regarding computer and networking problems of moderate to complex nature to ensure user productivity.
> Carries out the installation and maintenance of Local Area Network (LAN), Wide Area Network (WAN), and voice networking systems, assistance and direction provided from a Senior level resource.
> Troubleshoots network problems and takes steps to resolve network issues, while working with a Senior level resource.
> Assists in performing existing network system analysis and evaluation and prepares concise reports as to the results including recommendations for updates, repairs, and reconfigurations where necessary.
> Monitors network connections to ensure optimal network performance.
> Coordinates with Corporate technical support on any steps necessary to ‘fine-tune’ the network. 
> Schedules, plans, and performs periodic scheduled maintenance to ensure systems are operating at optimal levels.
> Maintains and utilizes the existing performance monitoring tools, Solarwinds and BMC – Patrol Zabbix and Tivoli.
> Ensure that all requirements of a SSAE18 audit are maintained and followed.
> Utilizes ticketing software for planned and unplanned outages and system maintenance.
> Assists the System Administrator to create and maintain user account administration for local applications and server domains.
> Must be versatile and proficient on multiple platforms and technologies including but not limited to communication equipment, validation equipment, and various vendor and manufacturer terminals.
> Communicate effectively and efficiently with Internal and external customers.
> Knowledge of Red Hat Linux Enterprise command line commands 
> Understand assigned jurisdiction memory clear policy and ability to perform memory clears as needed.
> Perform customer service functions with client representatives and venue staff.
> Comprehensive understanding of rules and regulations within assigned jurisdiction.
> Comprehensive knowledge of venue specific policies within the assigned jurisdiction. 
> Thorough understanding of IGT procedures necessary to service and maintain installed Video Gaming devices. 
> Thorough understanding of video gaming industry terminology to include:
> game play – reels, elements, bonus features
> audit functions – play history, BA acceptance, OS logs, protocol logs
> Flexible work schedule
> Field work and travel as required for the support of gaming venues.
> Available 24x7 for on call duties as required.
> Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned. 


Minimum Education:
Two year degree or network certifications.

Work Experience:
1-2 years experience, or 3-5 years experience without a degree

Working Knowledge in the following:

- Windows operating system experience
- CISCO systems experience
- Linux
- Fortinet systems
- Zabbix & Tivoli performance monitoring tools

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $36,500 - $100,500. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.
