What you’ll do:

 

•    You will work with and report directly to Software Development Manager,
•    Your primary role is to develop employee career path and discover their maximum performance  through soft skills approach, coaching, training, socialization and mentoring via 1-on-1 sessions on a regular schedule,
•    You will help by communicating with all software developers in Studio to understand their career vision, assist them in refining it & aligning to Studio goals.
•    You will effectively help and support to find the best approach in hiring, training, and developing new employees to meet organizational needs.
•    You are expected to organize and facilitate both short and long-term focused 1-on-1 meetings between engineers and their leaders to recap previous period, potential opportunities for growth, as well as future steps.
•    You will align expectations of both team leaders and developers, document and track them.
•    You will document your observations for each employee, provide reports for their manager/leader and assist in engineer decision making.
•    You will define and maintain standards and/or tasks for all above mentioned activities in standard tools that we use for documentation or tracking,
•    You will make these engineer resource standards transparent, understandable and embed them into team culture.
•    You will define & maintain engineer culture of work encompassing working, social and ethical topics to better your team’s cohesiveness.
•    You will work on defining team culture based on local environment and help alignment with corporate culture.
•    You will organize and facilitate global Casino trips, team workshops, trips to Conferences or Themed Team Building events. (travel is periodic)
 

Must-haves:

 

•    Mentoring or coaching experience, in IT company,
•    Understanding skillset of Software Engineers,
•    Ability to improve communication between colleagues,
•    Be well informed and stay up to date for possible career options for Software Engineers,
•    Ability to organize and document meetings, events, observations,
•    Solid technical English
•    Good team playing, and communication skills.
•    Ability to motivate people and proactively propose directions of work.

Nice-to-have:

 

•    Previous experience as a developer
•    Education in any of following fields: human resources, organizational behavior, or similar
