What you’ll do:

 

•    Model, sculpt, and texture 3D characters, assets, and environments using Blender or Maya, and tools like Photoshop and Substance Painter/Designer.
•    Implement 3D assets and animations into Unity, working with Technical Artists and Developers to optimize performance and ensure integration fidelity.
•    Perform character rigging and animation, ensuring fluid, expressive movement and consistency across gameplay requirements.
•    Produce 3D animations for characters, creatures, objects, and environments, aligned with the visual style, gameplay goals, and technical constraints of each project.
•    Collaborate closely with Producers and the Art Team to create high-quality 3D animations that elevate our in-development titles.
•    Work cross-functionally with Concept Artists, Technical Artists, and Developers to rapidly iterate based on feedback and gameplay needs.
•    Stay updated on the latest tools, techniques, and trends in 3D animation and contribute to improving the animation pipeline.

Must-haves:

 

•    Strong skills in 3D animation, modeling, sculpting, UV mapping, and texturing.
•    Proficiency in Blender and/or Maya.
•    Experience with Adobe Photoshop and After Effects, particularly in texturing and video-based animation workflows.
•    Working knowledge of Unity, with the ability to create or implement 3D animations within the engine.
•    A strong portfolio demonstrating 3D animation and modeling skills.
•    Passion for games and storytelling through movement.
•    Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-disciplinary teams.

Nice to have:

 

•    Experience with Substance Painter and/or Substance Designer.
•    Familiarity with AI-based tools and image generators.
•    Understanding of gameplay animation principles and technical optimization in Unity.
•    Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and additional design tools.
