The Role:

 

As a Senior Project Manager here at IGT your role will be responsible for leading multiple projects simultaneously - Developing detailed project plans, schedules, and managing all implementation processes, including resource allocation, progress tracking, monitoring, risks, change control, testing, documentation, training and on-time delivery within budget.

 

Projects may vary in number, size and complexity and you can expect to be collaborating with numerous internal teams and external customers!

Responsibilities

  • Manages scope, schedule, budget and quality of assigned projects or project activities per project metrics.
  • Leads project processes and important metrics following established  Processes
  • Handles internal and external project partners including teams, internal collaborators, customers and vendors.
  • Provides leadership, coordination, facilitation and motivates teams to complete projects successfully.
  • Analyzes, reviews and reports project progress including the status of work, resource allocations, financial forecasts.
  • Applies strict change and issue/risk management processes and communicates them to key stakeholders, members including recovery and risk mitigation plans
  • Improves project activities and process and innovates to provide project efficiencies
  • Ability to influence, motivate and coach junior members of Project Management Community

 

Additional Duties and Expectations

 

  • Supports bid processes & contract negotiations
  • Contributes in Strategic Meetings in relation to assigned project or customer
  • Actively participates in organizational improvements
  • Follows on internal technology/operations improvement initiatives

Skill and Competencies

  • Solid IT project management experience with a proven track record of delivering large/sophisticated sub-projects, projects or programs or portfolio of medium to large projects
  • Ability to demonstrate taking care of the external customer through your strong written & verbal communication skills
  • Commercially aware with solid understanding of change in a business environment
  • Experience of handling multi-functional virtual on/offshore teams
  • Ability to assist in defining and implementing process improvements for project management

Education & Experience

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
  •  10 years of project or relevant technology management experience.
  • Achievement of industry certification i.e. PMI CAPM or PMP, PRINCEII Practitioner, or equivalent.
