Responsibilities

The job involves defining architecture for a number of applications and deliveries based on business requirements and support software engineering during development.
Specific tasks include:
•    Understanding business requirements, as well gap assessment between on the shelf products and requirements
•    Understanding Non-Functional Requirements
•    Outline roadmap for product & solutions
•    Propose specific software high level design
•    Support estimation
•    Document architecture
•    Support implementation team with guidance during implementation
•    Participate in limited development of designed architectures
•    Support troubleshooting when required
Organizationally the job will be reporting to the head of product architecture, who reports to the head of architecture and chief architect, who reports directly to the CTO.

Qualifications

Must have skills:
•    Formal education (bachelor degree strongly preferred, master’s degree a plus)
•    Experience in software development and/or architecture (5+ years strongly preferred, 10+ years a plus)
•    Experience in OOD & OOP (Java a plus)
•    Experience in databases
•    Experience in web technologies
•    Experience with application design
•    Experience with CICD, Containers
•    Basic knowledge of modeling (like UML)
•    General knowledge about IT and IT industry
•    Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Nice to have skills:
•    Experience with transaction processing
