Responsibilities

OVERALL OBJECTIVE AND PURPOSE:
As part of our Business Requirements team, the Business Systems Analyst uses a systematic, quantifiable approach to software development and maintenance through requirements management.  Partnering with both our external and internal customers (Account Teams, Project Management, Development and Quality Assurance) to identify and validate business needs, in order to create well-defined User (Market Requirements, Business Requirements) and System Requirements (Hardware and Software) associated with the successful delivery of IGT products and services.  

OVERALL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
•    Creating project-specific requirements deliverables (Functional Requirements, Use Cases, Prototypes and Functional Specifications) and managing them via a formal change control process
•    Providing support to project management and systems delivery teams in the implementation of customer solutions
•    Working with other analysts, technology team members and the customer’s business stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of system functionality and business requirements throughout product releases or projects
•    Organizing your workload to ensure all tasks and assignments are completed accurately and on time.
•    Leading and participating in requirements workshops with project stakeholders (both internal and external)
•    Lead efforts in analyzing the User requirements and breaking them down into system level requirements (hardware and software) to be used by the development and QA teams.
•    Manage the change process related to the requirements throughout SDLC via the projects change control process.
•    Facilitate the inspection of a requirements in order to achieve formal signoff/agreement by customer and internal teams.

 

Qualifications

Post-Secondary Degree or Diploma with additional Education/Training in a Business Functional Area or equivalent.
•    Minimum 6 years of industry experience or in a related field.
•    Experience in the creation of Use Cases, Software/Hardware Requirements Specifications, and Functional Specifications
•    Must be familiar with MS Office, MS Project, MS Visio
•    Working knowledge of gaming regulations and protocols is considered an asset
•    English language proficiency is a must
•    Expert Proficiency in the software development life cycle: Software Requirements, Software Design, Software Configuration Management, Software Engineering Quality
•    Flexible, able to adapt quickly to changing client requirements
•    Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills
•    Highly organized and has the ability to multitask
•    Able to build strong customer relationships
•    Energetic, customer focused, dedicated to their work and demonstrates strong facilitation, interpersonal skills
•    Demonstrates an interest in technical solutions and is able to understand and learn complex systems quickly
•    Able to function in a fast-paced environment with strong organizational skills and handle demanding deadlines and simultaneous projects
•    Available to travel internationally
