Role Overview

Let's have serious fun at IGT Play Digital in Simply Play Studio in the Game Development team.

As a game developer, you will learn new cutting-edge technologies, work with senior game developers, animators, illustrators, sound artists, product owners and by putting your energy together, you'll create brilliant games that run all over the world.

What You’ll Do

Develop cross-platform games suitable for desktop/mobile/tablet, any device with internet connection.

Work with the design department: illustrators, animators, tech designers, it's fun, there are challenges all the time.

Front-end only, for server you will communicate with C++ developers and after work and work you will decide correct client-server communication.

The sound artist will always have something to say until the game "sounds right".

Product Owners, yes, they are special, but working with them make the games player oriented and this is our mission.

Work in an interactive environment with colleagues from around the world.

About You

Few years of experience within frontend technologies.

OOP all day: modules, classes, constructors, methods, properties.

Any OOP programming language, Typescript is a plus.

Experience with GIT, SVN or other version control systems

Analytical approach to problem solving and the ability to work as a reliable team member, autonomously, with patience and attention to detail.

Willing to learn new technologies/game development: In our team you have startup mentality, always looking for the latest updates to make the games framework more optimal and performant.

What We’d Prefer

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems.

Experience with a library like: PixiJs, Spine, ThreeJs.

Experience with design patterns like: Factory, Visitor, Observer, we have fun with them and it will help your framework learning.

Model View Controller is our beloved design pattern, we are juggling with Mediators, Commands, Views and it’s fun, easy to maintain, work in team, create new features.

Experience with web tooling and using transpilers (eg. NPM, TypeScript).

Experience with tools (JIRA, GitHub, Jenkins).

Experience in code performance optimization.
