The Business Pro Analyst I (BA) works with customers to identify and validate business needs in order to create well-defined requirements associated with IGT product, service and solution offerings.  This position applies a systematic, disciplined, quantifiable approach to the design, development, implementation, operation, and maintenance of customer solutions through requirements management.  The BA I actively participates in synthesizing IGT, customer, and market requirements to support the assimilation and evolution of IGT products and services.


Work with business and technology team members to ensure seamless integration of business requirements with system functionality throughout the project lifecycle
Demonstrate knowledge of System Development Life Cycle (SDLC), requirements management and other associated methodologies
Anticipate, elicit, analyze, understand, validate, coordinate, document and manage business and functional requirements associated with formalized project life cycle across product releases or projects
Provide support to project management for the implementation of customer solutions, and articulate technical and data architecture concepts
Document, analyze and interpret complex business policies and processes
Document use cases.
Identify and manage issues and risks related to requirements and devise strategies to address in a proactive manner
Support the implementation of large scale business systems and processes, and clearly articulate the related technical and data architecture concepts
Manage change control for the full project requirement set after approval, so that change requests are logged, tracked, assessed, and implemented in a controlled and traceable manner
Conduct independent research and synthesize findings
Perform gap analyses, analyze results, determine how to address gaps and verify recommendations with technical team members
Serve as a team leader for the business analysis effort related to the definition, documentation, design, development and implementation of large or technically complex systems or enhancements and their associated environments
Lead groups in analyzing, designing and implementing solutions to business requirements
Lead requirements workshops with project stakeholders
Create project-specific Business Analysis Plan and update as required
Manage workload to ensure all tasks and assignments are completed accurately and on time
Present information effectively to customers and respond in a timely, accurate manner
Manage data via Requirements Management Tool(s) and perform traceability tasks
Assume additional responsibilities as required

Minimum Education:
Two-year technical college degree or comparable experience

Minimum Experience:
2+ years dedicated and related experience in a role at this level

Knowledge and Skills:

Highly developed analytical skills and creativity to develop solutions to business issues.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to bridge communication between technical staff, non-technical staff and customers

Strong problem resolutions skills and conflict resolution skills– able to handle demanding deadlines and simultaneous projects

Able to deliver engaging presentations and demonstrate strong facilitation skills
Strong negotiation skills
Must have a positive attitude
Experience with process workflow development
Working knowledge of production operational environments and software batch release process
Working knowledge of basic auditing standards and practices
Comprehensive knowledge of Office suite, PC operating systems, SharePoint and configurations
Effective technical writing skills
Listens effectively, summarizes, and asks clarifying questions
Self-motivated, demonstrates initiative
Demonstrates a strong sense of urgency and makes sound business judgments
