About the Role

IGT is looking for an experienced SAP Sales and Distribution Business Analyst who has knowledge of SAP's Service Management module, to join our well-established Enterprise Apps team!

This Analyst specializing in Sales and Distribution/Service Management will be responsible for design, implementation, and support for IGT’s SAP ECC 6 solution, other integrated subsystems that are currently in place.

This role is accountable for IGT’s general business functions within the ERP-SAP environments, which include Order-to-Cash, Service, and other multi-functional modules.

This Analyst will also be required to successfully build credible partnerships across business functions, partners, and other members of Enterprise Apps team to collaboratively define, deliver and support SAP ERP and other Enterprise App solutions.

In coming years, this role will play important role in planning and implementation S4 HANA.


  • Drive implementation, support, improvement projects including a full-cycle implementation of SD
  • Model, analyze, deploy, monitor, and continuously improve business processes and applications in the Order-To- Cash (OTC) and Service areas
  • Design, customize, configure and testing of SD and SM
  • Be strategic in evaluating customer requests, so that the requests that has business value are considered and prioritized.
  • Identify, document, and propose “to-be” solutions
  • Create Business Requirement Documents (BRD / FRD) and user acceptance test scripts
  • Support systems validation/testing to SOX, and other regulatory compliance, as needed.
  • Work with Enterprise Apps management and staff to develop and maintain standards, processes, and documentation.
  • Participate in incident management activities for critical incidents, outages, or other performance issues.
  • Support all aspects of SAP systems including upgrades and life cycle management
  • Perform other duties and/or responsibilities as assigned


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or equivalent work experience
  • 8+ years of SAP SD experience with an emphasis on design, configuration and troubleshooting required
  • 2+ years of exerience with SAP's Service Management module
  • Have been part of SAP implementation on 4+ full life cycle projects with emphasis on SD
  • Experience should include the following Sales and Distribution functional areas: SD org structure definition, SD master data configuration and setup for customer master, customer material info record, and pricing; sales doc type configuration and sales order processing, pricing configuration, rebate processing, delivery processing, billing processes, ATP, Intercompany and third party drop ship processes.
  • Service management experience should include – Service orders, Notification, Equipment/Serial master, User statuses and other features associated with Service.
  • Ability to work independently with little oversight and direction.
  • Ability to understand/work with interfaces to non-SAP systems
  • Ability to debug to expedite problem analysis
  • Excellent organization, prioritization, and multi-tasking abilities.
