Position Summary
Join the IGT Lean Engineering Team in a highly developed, complete end to end Lean Logistics Operations System. This position is a fast-paced high visibility Logistics Lean Champion role within the Global Logistics team working for the world's largest end to end gaming and lottery provider, with the opportunity to streamline processes and drive lean initiatives across logistics operations. We are looking for strong leaders who facilitate continued departmental growth to world class, lean practices, as well as strong knowledge of warehouse systems and organization. 

A cross functional collaborator will work with multiple directorates both internal and external of Nevada serving IGT's global customer base. A successful candidate will have a balance of creative and analytical thinking abilities and strong leadership skills.  You will be a team member of a well-established and high performing team. This leader will drive day to day process improvements, analyze performance metrics, mentor, teach and coach lean concepts and execute projects to support the Strategic Plan. 


•    Work with team to identify waste and cost savings projects
•    Focus on business performance that constantly strives to eliminate waste, improve customer satisfaction, and deliver business results via the use of Lean Six Sigma tools and continuous improvement methodologies
•    Work with team on improvement initiatives across the organization including parts distribution, warehouse operations, inventory control, shipping and receiving, and production support
•    Report KPI metrics charts to measure process improvements
•    Calculate and report process improvement cost savings calculations
•    Develop/maintain detailed process and Value Stream maps
•    Participate with senior leadership and cross-functional project teams in the identification, assessment, development, and validation of process improvement opportunities
•    Work with team to develop continuous improvement models for process improvement initiatives
•    Ensure comprehensive organization of updated documentation of processes and methodologies
•    Maintain and contribute to Lean concepts and teaching through an established departmental monthly newsletter


•    Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field. 


Preferred Qualifications
•    Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint
•    SAP knowledge a plus
•    Six Sigma or Lean certification
•    Continuous improvement experience
•    Experience with charting and reporting KPIs, continuous improvement projects, project savings, financials
•    Experience in Value Stream Mapping, A3 methodology, Kaizen methods and other key Lean tools
•    Facilitating Lean training and Kaizen events
•    Experience in Gaming, High Tech, Electronics or Consumer Good
•    Understanding of transportation, distribution, and warehousing concepts.
•    Strong communication skills.
