Join the IGT Lean Engineering Team in a highly developed, complete end to end Lean Logistics Operation System. This position is a fast-paced, high visibility Engineering Manager role within the Global Logistics team working for the world's largest end to end gaming and lottery provider. This is an opportunity to continue to streamline processes and drive lean initiatives across global logistics operations. We are looking for strong leaders who facilitate continued departmental growth to world class, lean practices, as well as strong knowledge of warehouse systems and organization.
Responsibilities
- This role is a cross functional collaborator will work with multiple directorates both internal and external of Nevada serving IGT's global customer base.
- A successful candidate will have a balance of creative and analytical thinking abilities and strong leadership skills. You will lead a team of a well-established and high performing Logistics Engineers.
- This leader will drive day to day process improvements, analyze performance metrics, mentor, teach and coach lean concepts and execute projects to support the Strategic Plan.
- End to end implementation of a Lean Operating System that includes Six Sigma, planning, teaching, tracking, and results demonstrated with data.
- Facilitation of Strategic House, Hoshin Planning, A3 for tracking project progress across all departments in Logistics.
- Monthly development of Operational and Financial KPI to analyze and manage business by data.
- Calculate cost savings for all A3 process improvement projects.
- Continuous improvement to eliminate waste, improve customer satisfaction, and deliver business results via the use of Lean Six Sigma tools and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Maintain and contribute to Lean concepts and teaching through an established departmental monthly newsletter.
- Manage and coordinate improvement initiatives across the organization using Kaizen events, teaching Lean concepts to help departments achieve Bronze, Silver and Gold levels of Lean.
- Identify and develop KPI metrics to measure results and ensure that these metrics are captured during process improvement activities.
- Develop, maintain, teach Value Stream Mapping, detailed process maps, metrics, and control plans for the key Logistic processes.
- Identify opportunities for project improvements through Value Stream Mapping.
- Develop business cases, A3s, and DMAIC models for process improvement initiatives
- Lead senior leadership and cross-functional project teams in the identification, assessment, development and validation of process improvement opportunities
- Create and maintain comprehensive documents of lean processes and methodologies.
Experience Required
- Evaluating the use of inventory tracking technology, warehousing software, or intelligent conveyor systems to maximize plant or distribution center efficiency.
- Conducting logistics studies or analyses, such as time studies, zero-base analyses, rate analyses, network analyses, flow-path analyses, or supply chain analyses.
- Applying logistics modeling techniques to address issues such as operational process improvement or facility design or layout.
- Designing comprehensive supply chains that minimize environmental impacts or costs.
- Evaluating logistics methods to reduce environmental impact.
- Participating in Network Modeling for ways to improve efficiency or minimize the environmental impact of logistics activities.
- Creating models or scenarios to predict the impact of changing circumstances, such as fuel costs, road pricing, energy taxes, or carbon emissions legislation.
- Providing logistical facility or capacity planning analyses for distribution or transportation functions.
- Analyze, identify, and design potential plant distribution centers.
Qualifications Required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics Engineering, Supply Chain management or related field.
- Formal Lean training and experience with Value Stream Management tools, A3 methodology, Kaizen methods and other key Lean tools and methodologies.
- Experience facilitating Lean training and Kaizen events at all levels, influencing, and engaging senior leadership.
- Continuous improvement experience across broad business areas and/or a shared service organization. Demonstrated experience in managing a range of project initiatives through the complete project life cycle and managing all project components including Plan, Financials, Scope, Issues, Risks, and Change Control.
- Strong communication skills should be proficient in developing, organizing / arranging project information, and presenting to a range of audiences Must have experience presenting and making recommendations to Senior Management.
Qualifications Preferred
- Advanced degree in related field is a plus
- Experience in Gaming, High Tech, Electronics or Consumer Good.
- Network Modeling using software such as Llama Software.
- Experience with Power BI tools.
- Supply Chain Network modeling and strategy concepts.
- SAP knowledge a plus.
- Certified (Lean) Six Sigma Black Belt and PMP certification preferred plus 3+ years’ experience improving business process performance.

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $84,000- $185,500. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.
Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses .
