IGT Casino Systems is looking for a dedicated, passionate, organized individual to drive continuous improvement initiatives within the R&D department.  The ideal candidate will use their strong leadership experience to work with cross-disciplinary teams, help define and track project milestones, and clear impediments on the road to success.  This will be your opportunity to bring creative solutions, disciplined task management, and strategic planning and analysis skills to grow the capabilities of a diverse team of software engineers.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, organized individual with strong communication skill to work with cross-functional teams to help define and execute strategic objectives across the Casino Systems R&D team.  The candidate will report directly to the Sr. Director of Casino Systems R&D as Chief of Staff and will help define strategic objectives and milestones, break complex vision statements into smaller tasks, and help ensure tasks are executed on to completion.  


•    Participate in department strategic planning sessions
•    Develop project objectives based on strategic goals
•    Define scope of effort required to meet objectives
•    Define activities, sequence of events, and dependencies required to complete project
•    Coordinate work performed by others by defining and tracking project requirements
•    Analyze, review, and forecast project and department spending with management team
•    Report progress on projects on a regular basis to management team
•    Collaborate with other departments as needed for project and strategic objectives
•    Manage work on multiple projects in tandem
•    Facilitate team building and communication
•    Develop, track and report on project progress, resource, staff, assets, schedules, and project metrics



•    Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience
•    PMP and Agile, Scrum, SAFE or equivalent certification required
•    Strong Excel skills , Microsoft Project, or similar program
•    Strong PowerPoint skills , as well as comfort with delivering presentations to senior leadership
•    Familiarity with PPM and SAP a plus
•    8+ years of experience in managing technical projects, program management desired and a plus
•    1 to 2+ years of experience managing (directly or indirectly) large staffs of 10+
•    Knowledge of the gaming or video game industry helpful
•    Ability to leverage knowledge to identify needs and opportunities and develop in depth solutions
•    Successful delivery of quality projects through consistent milestones in a 12+ month cycle 
•    Must be familiar with software engineering as well as project management techniques and methods
•    Must have strong oral and written communication skills
•    Must have strong organizational skills
•    Must be able to travel and obtain a gaming card
•    Must be at least 21 years of age
