IGT is seeking a Production Scheduler at our Reno, NV manufacturing operation.  The ideal candidate will have previous experience in materials planning, bill of materials, production planning, or other related experience.

Production order maintenance
Checking material availability, expediting and communicating part shortages
Processing material returns
Releasing production orders
Minimizing order variances by following documented processes
Work cross functionally to resolve manufacturing issues
Be proactive in solving problems


Knowledge of BOM's, production routings, master data, warehousing and basic production processes
Must be able to communicate findings professionally in both written and verbal form
Must be able to work independently; with guidance in only the most complex situations
Demonstrated characteristics required to promote a positive teamwork type atmosphere within the department as well as cross functionally with those departments we interact with on a daily basis
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience
2+ years of experience in production control, production support or equivalent role
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
Warehouse or production support experience
Must be able to pass a security background investigation
Must be at least 18 years of age


Preferred Qualifications:
Proficiency using SAP systems 
APICS certification
