The Facilities Manager position supports the IGT Reno, NV operation by overseeing Maintenance and Services in a 1.2 million square foot facility. The Facilities Manager will serve in a capacity of maintenance management, Facilities technical expert, for all functional operation, services and maintenance areas. This role provides analysis, alternatives, recommendations, implementation plans, and oversight of maintenance initiatives focused on maintaining and improving safety, regulatory compliance, production & productivity integrity, improved equipment availability and budgetary mechanical, electrical & operational initiatives. This position is responsible for managing the design, planning, construction and the maintenance of equipment, machinery, and buildings. The Facilities Manager is responsible for complete facility management including building systems and grounds maintenance, warehousing, Project Management, Construction Management, and coordinating contracted services as required for IGT Reno.

  • Leadership of the maintenance team in applying best maintenance practices to maximize equipment reliability & resource availability 
  • Oversees the coordination of building space allocation and layout, and facility expansion.
  • Oversees the maintenance and repair of facilities.
  • Coordinates the installations and maintenance of generators, UPS’s, infrastructure, installation and upgrades to UPS and gear software/hardware.
  • Develops and ensures conformance to facilities policies and procedures.
  • Evaluates and selects contractors, vendors and suppliers and negotiates contracts.
  • Plans, budgets and schedules facility modifications. Tracks, plans and forecast Facilities expenses, CapEx and OpEx.
  • Develops cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, etc.
  • Optimize spare parts carrying costs and ensure spare parts availability and inventory management.
  • Develop an on-going replacement analysis program for capital equipment based on work order and preventative maintenance histories, reliability performance and cost.
  • Selects, develops and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
  • Schedules maintenance and monitors the operation of utility systems such as heating, ventilating and air conditioning. Knowledge of BMS systems such as ALC.
  • Knowledge of OSHA, Right to Know, Lock Out Tag Out regulations and violations.
  • Familiarity with EH&S and the ability to liaise with team.
  • Ability to liaise with all Departments leadership.
  • Ability to work with Senior Executives of the Company.
  • Leadership skills necessary to coach and mentor others; effective supervisory skills with an ability to develop a team, review employee performance, address escalated issues, generate assignments, and set priorities.
  • Maintain a high level of employee morale and integrity in the department through positive motivation, development, and training
  • Knowledge of relevant safety and required inspection standards related to facilities.
  • Extensive experience with PLC’s, Mechanized automation and Conveyor builds and maintenance.
  • Solid understanding of both Manufacturing environments as well as Office.


  • 4-year degree or equivalent (experience can be substituted)
  • 8+ years’ experience in the function or discipline managed, typically including supervisory experience. 
  • Minimum 5 years of experience supervising personnel
  • Must be able to pass all jurisdictional background checks and Gaming License backgrounds.    
  • Proficiency with Microsoft office and work order software.
  • Comfortability in a variable environment, including (but not limited to) frequent walking, standing, sitting, and exposure to all seasonal climatic conditions
  • Occasionally lifting, carrying, and/or pulling objects up to 50 lbs.
