Job Summary

Based in Reno, NV the Facilities Engineer will be responsible to assess, maintain and optimize critical facility operational systems in Reno and Las Vegas (remotely). Develop and implement utility plans, system evaluations and establish operational efficiency.

Principle Duties

Operates, maintains, troubleshoots, and adjusts various building systems including boilers, pumps, HVAC units, lighting, uninterrupted power supply units and associated alarm systems.

Prepares the preparation of reports, calculations, design plans, specifications, schedules, cost estimates and other materials related to the planning, design, maintenance repairs and construction phases of facility projects.

Works within a team setting. Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently. Must be capable of modeling appropriate workplace behaviors and mentoring support personnel within the team.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering preferred.
HVAC controls training and/or certification.
At least 2 years experience as a facilities engineer or in a similar role.
Proficient in the Microsoft suite of systems as well as Experience with AutoCAD, SAP, EMS programs such as Web Control.
Knowledge of building and construction principles.
Knowledge of relevant regulations and building codes.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Project management skills.

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $44,100 - $99,000. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.

Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses .
