Overview:

The VP of Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) supports the global organization to achieve short, medium and long-term strategic and financial goals. In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for leading a team dedicated to FP&A and in a matrix relationship a team dedicated to supporting the financial systems. S/he will report directly to the SVP Corporate FP&A. 
 

Responsibilities:

•    Lead quarterly forecast, annual budget and strategic planning processes for the Company, and provide value-added analytical analysis of actual performance against key comparisons 
•    Prepare executive management, board and shareholder financial presentations
•    Build relationships with Corporate, Business Segments and Business Segments finance leaders to ensure effective and efficient collaboration
•    Manage relationship and coordinate priorities and goals with technical team supporting corporate finance reporting systems
•    Drive continuous improvement and automation of processes to shift focus of team to more analysis and value-add activities
•    Assist with other ad hoc financial analysis requirements from Group CEO/CFO and other corporate groups (IR, Treasury, Strategy etc.) as needed 
•    Develop the team through active performance management and coaching
 

Experience with the following:

•    Corporate FP&A
•    Managing financial systems and financial reporting, including working knowledge of general accounting principles and procedures (GAAP)
•    Complex global matrix organization
•    Developing efficient and effective solutions to diverse and complex business problems
•    Effectively leading multiple projects and balancing competing priorities
•    Delivering high quality results against deadlines
•    Relationship management across all levels of a comparable size/structure organization
•    High level of emotional intelligence and communication skills

Skills and abilities:

•    Strategic thinking and significant leadership experience 
•    Superior analytical and financial modeling skills with ability to analyze and summarize complex issues for executive presentation in a clear and compelling manner
•    Effectively exercise tact, discretion, and diplomacy when interacting and/or negotiating with internal and external customers, and senior management
•    Perform in a “hands-on” environment that demands a consultative approach across multiple business functions
•    Accept responsibility, challenge established practices, take responsible risks, and promote & implement change
•    Perform in a highly visible and high-pressure environment while exercising integrity and good judgement
•    Strong project management, planning and organizational skills
•    Expert in Excel and PowerPoint

Requirements:

•    Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field, MBA and/or CPA designation preferred
•    12+ years of experience in accounting and/or finance roles.
•    5+ years of experience in financial planning & analysis (FP&A) or similar planning roles. Must have proven experience in a Corporate FP&A department.
•    5+ years of team leadership experience
