Overview

The Treasury Analyst will join a very analytical and fast-paced IGT team in Providence, RI, and support the Global Corporate Treasury operations. Responsibilities include but are not limited to; derivatives risk management, cash flow forecast analysis, actual/forecast review process of Treasury transactions, monitoring company financial ratios, assisting on compliance, internal controls, and audit process.

Responsibilities

  • Support the analysis and assist in recommendations on a variety of treasury activities including, external investments, banking relationships, rating agencies, cash and debt management, foreign exchange and department forecasts
  • Manage Group FX and interest rate exposures
  • Monitor financial market behavior and present strategies to reduce interest expense and optimize FX exposure
  • Hedge FX exposure: Transaction and Cash Flow exposure
  • Interact with sites to understand the business and potential FX exposures
  • Prepare compliance information to banks and regulators
  • Support the preparation of the Treasury forecast: interest expense, interest income, other expenses, FX gain/loss, interest rate swaps
  • Prepare the annual FX budget rates for the Group as well as monthly FX rate forecasts used by Financial Planning and Analysis
  • Maintain WACC, hurdle rate and internal financing interest rate model
  • Support Business Evaluation
  • Prepare and analyze monthly accounting closing process
  • Liaise with internal departments: Accounting (including external auditors), FP&A, Tax, M&A, Business Evaluation, Business Proposal, Business Units and Legal

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting required
  • 2 – 3 years Corporate Treasury experience
  • Comfortable working in a fast paced environment and the ability to multi-task as necessary
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Excel, Word and Power Point
  • Experience in SAP/BPC and Bloomberg is a plus
