Overview

Our iLottery division are industry leaders in digital entertainment and technology space driven by putting our customers first as well as focusing on future innovation. We are looking to reinvent the Lottery industry. 

IGT is seeking a strategic B2B copywriter with clear marketing strengths and a love for the creative industry. The Copywriter will play an integral role in the creation of brochures, product sheets and proposals material and keeping it aligned with the vision of all stakeholders.  The Copywriter will bring forth big ideas informed by company goals/value propositions and will be able to translate ideas effectively across all sales channels. This role will be crucial in maintaining the integrity and authenticity of the brand's content.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development of the IGT iLottery brand through our bid responses, brochures and product sheets and provide copy for the iLottery section of IGT.com 
  • Assess the opportunity for new content formats such as ebooks, how-to and demo videos etc
  • Help define the story of IGT iLottery 
  • Craft copy for sales marketing material that supports the unique identity and proposition of the iLottery division and generate extraordinary results
  • Develop and maintain sales material used for RFP responses, integrating value propositions counter to our competitors marketing positioning 
  • Works with iLottery marketing, creative services team, and stakeholders to deliver exceptional on-brand work that consistently meets and/or exceeds project goals
  • Align with Strategic Marketing team on understanding our brand, value propositions and marketing goals
  • Create informative, persuasive and technically accurate copy that speaks the language of both the IGT iLottery brand and of the industry, and that speaks to the lottery customer audience, be that technical, financial or business. 

Qualifications

  • A portfolio that demonstrates compelling sales materials and long form written selling materials, conceptualization, and the ability to create a compelling B2B message.
  • A four-year degree (preferably in English, Journalism or a related field) and 2-5 years in a marketing / commercial selling copywriting role
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects/stakeholders, and quick deadlines
  • Attention to detail and a passion for high-quality work a must
  • Ability to translate technical product features and benefits into compelling sales copy
  • Ability to understand different buyer personas and adapt copy accordingly 
  • Experience in copywriting styles required for long form proposals, web and sales sheets
