IGT is seeking a litigation paralegal to help coordinate and support ongoing litigation, labor and employment matters, immigration and compliance matters handled by the Legal Department. Responsibilities will include a wide range of tasks, such as managing the litigation hold process, investigating and coordinating responses to demand letters, subpoena requests, and pre-dispute communications, coordinating and scheduling outside counsel and assisting with immigration filings. The job will also require project management experience, specifically to support case preparation activities, litigation discovery, IGT’s company-wide compliance efforts, document retention programs, and Legal Department information management efforts.


The litigation paralegal will work closely with assigned attorneys to strategize best approaches for each matter, align on matter deliverables and timing, and keep the matter team (internal and external) well-apprised on status updates.


All candidates should be proficient in Microsoft Suite, have high-level attention to detail, and superior written and oral communication skills. This position will report to the Associate General Counsel, Litigation & Employment.  

Required Qualifications

•    Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
•    Paralegal training and certification required, preferably from an ABA accredited institution
•    3+ years law firm and/or in-house legal department experience
•    Proficient with the creation and management of databases
•    Proficient with Microsoft Suite 
•    Excellent planning, project management and organizational skills
•    Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects concurrently with heavy attention to detail
•    Ability to work quickly and collaboratively under tight deadlines
•    Excellent team player with the ability to be flexible when priorities change
•    Strong oral and written communication skills
•    Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and other sensitive information

Preferred Qualifications

•    Bachelor’s Degree in business administration or aspiring attorney with a bachelor’s degree
•    Experience with matter management and document management systems 
•    Experience with litigation discovery
•    Proficient with Microsoft SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat and Oracle SAP
•    Ability and desire to work in an entrepreneurial, fast moving environment
