New opportunity based in Providence, RI for a Sr. Tax Manager to join the Corporate Tax team. This position will report directly to the International Tax Director. 

This is a key position within the Corporate Tax Department who will provide hands-on support on international tax planning, US international tax compliance and quarterly and year-end financial reporting.


  • Assist with tax planning projects related to IGT’s global tax strategy and modeling the corresponding cash/tax impact.  
  • Assist with US income tax compliance requirements as they relate to foreign operations including computation of subpart F/ GILTI income, BEAT.
  • Work with the tax advisors on reviewing the international tax aspects of US return, including Forms 5471, 5472 and 8865, U.S. inclusions, etc. 
  • Support the preparation of IGT’s Federal/Foreign income taxes for quarterly and year-end financial statements.
  • Assist with international components of the US and global tax provision process, including review of tax packages prepared by the local accounting teams to ensure compliance with US GAAP requirements. 
  • Review data collected for Country by Country Reporting (CbCR) reports and compliance of 1042 reporting.  
  • Perform analytical and tax research including building models and analysis of financial and numerical data.  
  • Management of existing structures, monitor and analyze existing and proposed tax legislation. 
  • Work effectively with other departments of Corporate Finance and external advisers on various financing initiatives.
  • Supervise the work of international tax seniors, provide them with technical and analytical direction.


  • Bachelor Degree in tax, finance, or accounting. 
  • CPA & Master’s Degree in Taxation preferred. 
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of Big Four Tax or Corporate Tax with broad exposure to international taxation and general knowledge of financial accounting skills related to accounting for income taxes. 
  • Superior analytical and tax research skills including building models and analysis of financial and numerical data.
  • Self-motivator and able to work independently. 
  • Must possess a high-level of attention to detail and strong analytical skills. 
  • Strong communication, computer and presentation skills (Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint). 
  • Excellent organizational skills with proven ability to handle multiple demands and competing priorities. 
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a complex global environment and build positive business relationships with all parties.
