We’re looking for a Customer Insights Analyst who will have a key role in uncovering powerful consumer insights with qualitative/quantitative research methods to help influence and shape the iLottery product marketing strategy. The Senior Market Research Specialist is also responsible for providing insights and trends on market technology and customer behavior focused on digital issues. This role will become the point of contact for all things iLottery. In this position, you will work closely with the Director Market Research & Insights Italy & iLottery Global and team as well as with the VP, Market Insights & Account Planning


  • Coordinate requests for market research and analysis and in particular iLottery, developing and executing an annual iLottery plan for approval by VP PlayLottery
  • Manage, supervise, and when needed execute all phases of market research studies (qualitative and quantitative) carried out both with the support of external agencies and completely in house
  • Manage brief collection/preparation, project design, methodology selection, questionnaire and moderation guide preparation/review, analysis, report writing, and presentation to stakeholders (when needed)
  • Manage relationships with external agencies and partners (data & insight providers included)
  • Manage regular direct contact with iLottery Product Management to answer specific needs, providing case studies and industry trends analysis and best practices benchmarking to support the development of strategic marketing plans
  • Run desk analysis and use primary and secondary sources to fully understand and assess omnichannel digital market, and customer behavior (with current and future view)
  • Define, develop, and update a database for Market/technology trends, customer insights and customer behavior focused on digital topics
  • Assemble periodic internal reports based on analysis insights, with data gathered from various sources
  • Assist with proposal materials for iLottery opportunities. Manage iLottery research budget
  • Undertake ad-hoc non-iLottery research projects as directed.

Nice to Have

  • Understanding of current economic and consumer trends and their impact on business decisions
  • Experience of marketing analytics tools and processes
  • Proficiency in data visualization & business intelligence software (Tableau, IBM Cognos Analytics), statistical analysis and survey software (SPSS, Qualtrics, Cvent Survey Solutions), Marketing Intelligence platforms (Environics ENVISION5
  • Familiar with survey building tools such as Getfeedback, SurveyMonkey, Toluna, etc.
  • Second language to English ideally Spanish and/or Italian

Education and Experience

  • University degree in statistics, business, marketing, economics, or related subjects
  • At least 5/6 years of relevant work experience in market research in highly complex, data-driven companies
  • Valuable expertise/knowledge in digital and lottery market is preferred
