Financial Management
Provide the financial skills, knowledge, and tools necessary to analyze, communicate and direct the financial performance of contracts during the various stages of the contract lifecycle, including:
1.    Annual preparation, analysis, and communication/presentation of KPI and related financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow) for the 5-Year plan
2.    Analysis and communication of actual financial statement performance vs. the prior year, budget and current forecast including pre-close flash and post-close financial reviews
3.    Quarterly preparation, analysis, and communication/presentation of financial statement forecasts of current fiscal year results including risks and opportunities to the plan
4.    As required updates of contract returns vs. negotiated pricing models
5.    Augment other teams in North America and CTO Lottery organization with ad hoc or periodic tasks like month-end close deliverables for IGT Printing or project finance lead for CTO Lottery
6.    On-going collaboration with business partners to ensure plan alignment on key volume related KPI, including Sales growth expectations, Headcount, Software deliveries, Manufacturing demand, and installed equipment base
7.    On-going assessment and improvement of the processes supporting the activities above

Accounting / SOX
Actively support the monthly accounting close process and all related accounting deliverables, including:
1.    Recording of accounting transactions that are not provided by the centralized AP, AR, fixed asset, or payroll subsidiary modules, focusing on revenue, cost, advanced payments, billings, deferred revenue, inventory, and current liabilities.
2.    Active management of accounts receivable and preparation/presentation of analysis in monthly review meetings
3.    Understanding of and adherence to Accounting policies and SOX controls
4.    Reconciliation and rollforward of regionally assigned balance sheet accounts
5.    Participation in the monthly accounting close meetings with CAO and CFO to finalize month end P&L for consolidation and segment reporting
6.    Participation and optimization of annual Sarbanes Oxley control cycle narratives
7.    Support of internal and external audit activities including preparation and communication of certain revenue recognition, accrual and other balance sheet supporting documentation


Contract Support
Support Operations Regional Vice President (RVP) with customer facing interactions related to the acquisition of new contracts or growth and extension of existing contracts, including: 
1.    Participation in costing and investment analysis of contract offerings primarily to support RVP in customer negotiations and price determination
2.    Preparation of accounting business summaries for executed contracts that assist in the determination of accounting treatment and revenue allocation
3.    Identification of cost savings opportunities, lead cost improvement initiatives, and track results
4.    Coordination and preparation of certain recurring customer invoicing processes
5.    Attendance and contribution to RVP staff meetings
6.    Preparation of MBE and other contract compliance financial reporting as required


1.    4-7 years of job-related experience
2.    Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related area required
3.    Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint required
4.    Technical competence and willingness to learn new technologies and software applications
5.    Motivated self-starter with capacity to manage multiple priorities 
6.    Ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to various business partners and senior leadership levels
