IGT’s Office of Diversity & Inclusion is a center of excellence within IGT’s People and Transformation team (other companies might call this “Human Resources”). The purpose of the Office of Diversity and Inclusion is to drive and support the company’s efforts to create a fair and inclusive culture that values unity, diversity, and belonging in our people, players, customers, and community. The primary role of the Project Specialist is to support the execution of the Global Strategic Plan for Diversity and Inclusion and coordinate measurement and reporting internally and externally. Coordinating IGT’s Global Diversity and Inclusion Council and Regional Advisory Councils and supporting the Vice President of Diversity and Inclusion in their role as Equal Employment Officer are also important areas of focus. This person will also support other areas of D&I work, as needed, to further evolve and execute IGT’s commitment to D&I.

The ideal candidate for this role has a passion for project management, data retrieval and analysis. Additionally, the candidate must demonstrate awareness and understanding of and continued learning about multiple facets of diversity: cultural, ethnic, racial, religious, gender, educational, age, sexual orientation, linguistic, professional, and other differences that make us unique.


This position will work closely with the Vice President, Diversity & Inclusion and other members of the Office of Diversity and Inclusion to:

•    Support execution and of Global D&I Strategic Plan at a global level and within all business units and measuring key performance indicators (KPIs).
•    Support coordination of Global Diversity and Inclusion Council and Regional Diversity and Inclusion Advisory Councils.
•    Assist in writing, editing, and managing the Global Strategic Plan for Diversity and Inclusion, and periodic progress reports and content across multiple platforms to relating to D&I initiatives, programs, metrics, tracking and successes. 
•    Support Vice President of Diversity in their role as Equal Employment Opportunity Officer by coordinating responses to internal requests for data, external surveys, regulatory filings, and industry-based reporting.
•    Conduct research and assist in support of goals, programs, initiatives in the areas of diversity, equity, inclusion, organizational culture, talent development, talent acquisition as they relate to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
•    Assist in writing, editing, and managing D&I content shared on the company intranet, and other internal platforms, corporate website, media releases, as appropriate.
•    Assist with preparation and delivery of presentations for a wide array of audiences including executives, business teams, customers and other stakeholders and the global company.
•    Continue to update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining professional networks, and participating in professional organizations and/or other methods of staying up to date regarding employee resource group best practices and trends.
•    Coordination of vendor relationships and industry memberships. 
•    Additional projects and assignments relating to D&I programs and initiatives, as requested.


•    Strong understanding of and commitment to the value of diversity and inclusion at IGT.
•    Experience with project management.
•    Experience with data analysis.
•    Confidence in simultaneously managing and measuring multiple projects from inception to completion through qualitative and quantitative key results.
•    Nuanced understanding or willingness to learn about People & Transformation processes and standards.
•    Strong commitment to confidentiality.
