Summary

IGT’s Office of Diversity & Inclusion is a center of excellence within IGT’s People and Transformation team (other companies might call this “Human Resources”). The purpose of the Office of Diversity and Inclusion is to drive and support the company’s efforts to create a fair and inclusive culture that values unity, diversity, and belonging in our people, players, customers, and community. The primary role of the Global Program Manager, Diversity and Inclusion is to manage Culture, Learning, and Community Engagement initiatives, ensuring alignment with Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) and IGT strategies as well as measure and communicate progress. Overseeing IGT’s Diversity & Inclusion Ambassadors and Diversity & Inclusion Groups, and engagement with our global communities are important areas of focus for this role. This person will also support other areas of D&I work, as needed, to further evolve and execute IGT’s commitment to D&I.

Responsibilities

This position will work closely with the Vice President, Diversity & Inclusion to:

•    Design and execute D&I learning initiatives and company-wide engagement programs on topics relevant to D&I and in close alignment with strategic D&I goals.
•    Collaborate with Talent Development team to embed diversity, equity, inclusion, belonging and cultural competence concepts and behaviors into global educations programs.
•    Serve as a facilitator and moderator for education and engagement sessions on topics relevant to D&I.
•    Oversee coordination of Diversity and Inclusion Groups (DIGs) and IGT’s network of D&I Ambassadors.
•    Promote DIG best practice sharing and intersectional collaboration, strategic goal setting, budgeting, and program development in alignment with global company strategic objectives.
•    Develop DIG performance metrics and dashboard to demonstrate group progress and business impact and communicate as appropriate.
•    Manage vendor relationships for DIGs, learning partners and other outside partnerships. 
•    Manage D&I program calendar and execute programs in alignment with key D&I recognition days.
•    Collaborate with Global Communications, People Communications, Marketing, and other departments as appropriate to D&I, including DIG and D&I Ambassador accomplishments
•    Assist in writing, editing, and managing D&I content shared on the company intranet, and other internal platforms, corporate website, media releases, as appropriate.
•    Build and promote IGT’s D&I program brand internally and externally.
•    Develop strategies and tools to communicate D&I initiatives to internal and external audiences, including, work colleagues, customers, communities, shareholders, executive team, and the board of directors.
•    Develop, manage, and participate in corporate culture transformation and permeation initiatives.
•    Prepare and deliver presentations for a wide array of audiences including executives, business teams, customers and other stakeholders and the global company.
•    Continue to update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining professional networks, and participating in professional organizations and/or other methods of staying up to date regarding employee resource group best practices and trends.
•    Additional projects and assignments relating to D&I programs and initiatives, as requested.

Qualifications

•    Strong understanding of and commitment to the value of diversity, equity, and inclusion at IGT.
•    Experience designing and implementing learning programs, with a strong preference for D&I education programs.
•    Facilitation and program moderator skills.
•    Interpersonal awareness and skills focused on listening, supportiveness, and group dynamics as well as a demonstrated understanding of identity and how it impacts their work and ability to foster inclusion within a global workplace.
•    Confidence in simultaneously managing and measuring multiple projects from inception to completion through qualitative and quantitative key results.
•    Honed skills as an influential communicator and presenter who has a demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders. 
•    Nuanced understanding or willingness to learn about People & Transformation processes and standards.
•    Strong commitment to confidentiality.
•    Robust history of planning events from start to finish.
•    Persistent and agile self-starter who thrives on collaboration, feedback, and innovation.
•    Demonstrated ability to create strategies, milestones, and metrics.
•    Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills with a variety of professional levels.
•    Expertise using Word and PowerPoint. Intermediate knowledge of Excel with a willingness to increase ability.
