Responsibilities

Cloud Center of Excellence (CCOE) is currently seeking an intern to work in Rhode Island. We are seeking a highly motivated intern with a passion for cloud engineering and front-end web development. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects and gain hands-on experience in cloud technologies, web development and big data projects. You will be responsible for assisting with the development of full stack web apps, cloud-based applications and improving the functionality and performance of our existing systems.

Qualifications

•   Actively enrolled, either full-time or part-time in any one of the following: (1) an accredited higher education institution; (2) a technical school recognized and approved by the Company OR (3) an approved workforce program/partner, studying Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar
•   Experience with React, TypeScript, JavaScript, and CSS
•   Experience with responsive web design using Bootstrap or a similar library
•   Ability to work well in a team environment
•   Time management and organization skills
•   Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities

Nice to have:
•   Experience with a relational database such as MySQL or Postgres
•   Experience with Ruby on Rails
•   Experience with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
•   Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker
•   Experience with testing frameworks and tools
•   Knowledge of security best practices for web and cloud environments
•   Familiarity with project management tools such as JIRA or Trello.

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation rate for the Graphic Design Intern role is $23.50. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower.
