Overview & Responsibilities

Looking for a highly motivated individual for the Accounts Receivable department. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for the recording of cash received, daily bank account reconciliations, and monthly general ledger account reconciliations. The role requires an understanding of the operations of an Accounts Receivable department, the ability to follow established processes and document flows, the ability to perform in a fast-paced environment working closely with various internal and external business partners. Reports to Senior Accounting Manager.


Successful candidate will be responsible for the following functions: 
•    Record cash receipts and ensure appropriate general ledger coding
•    Record Intercompany payment transfers (including foreign currency transactions) ensuring appropriate account coding
•    Handle complex customer account inquiries while ensuring excellent Customer experience
•    Communicate and collaborate with international site personnel on multi-company and multi-currency cash transactions
•    Prepare, review and maintain process procedures documentation
•    Support Accounting Month End Close Process by ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and on time.
•    Track multiple issues and seek resolution to problems that occur while managing changing priorities
•    Successfully remove obstacles and support the team to improve AR processes
•    Ensure compliance with SOX Internal Controls
•    Ensure compliance to global policies, tax, legal and statutory requirements
•    Provide data and necessary details for internal & external audit to ensure timely closure of the audit
•    Excellent team spirit and able to dedicate the time and effort necessary to achieve results
•    Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for projects as per management’s request


•    Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or other related experience
•    Minimum of 1 year accounting or related experience, Accounts Receivable experience a plus
•    Strong verbal and written communication skills
•    Advanced PC skills with emphasis on Excel and Microsoft Office applications
•    Ability to generalize classes of problems and implement identified solutions
