Software Test Engineer (f/m/x)

 

You will be one of our valuable acceptance test team members who is responsible for testing top-tier premium products to ensure our game functions properly and meets our business needs.

Using the classic test approach, you and your colleagues are responsible for testing a game in the last development instance and ensure technical readiness.

While we have ready-to-use test cases, you will also create your own tests as we constantly deal with new game concepts, new functions, and new products.

This job requires communication through many different departments.

It is important to be well-structured and organized, to be pro-active, and to be highly motivated with finding and reporting issues.

Your Qualifications

•    Manage system-acceptance-tests for new, innovative games, devices and display applications.
•    Define manual and automated test cases based on game/system requirements.
•    Report test results within the project team.
•    Maintain contact with other teams (e.g. Development, Project Management, Mathematics, etc.).
•    Systematic bug tracking and bug verification. 
•    Improve our existing software test methods, tools and processes.
•    Document and release SW components.
•    Run a test lab with about 20 machines. 
 

Requirements

•    Technical education and solid technical knowledge (e.g. HTL or similar background) 
•    2 years of experience in software testing 
•    Strong analytical skills, independent work and accuracy
•    High level of accountability, assertiveness, and integrity
•    Basic understanding of network engineering and hardware 
•    English (written & verbal) 
•    ISTQB certificate (beneficial)

According to Austrian law we are obligated to list the minimum salary 
for this position. The minimum salary starts at € 32.000 gross per year
full time, however actual compensation is negotiable and will be
based on your qualifications and experience.
