The Role

An outstanding opportunity exists to join a global market leader and dominant force in the Australian gaming market.  IGT is the world leader in the design, development and manufacture of gaming products and systems.  IGT Australia provides a range of gaming products, systems and services to the Club, Hotel and Casino industries.
IGT is searching for a Junior Software Engineer to join our Melbourne based team. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for producing and maintaining high quality software for all gaming products.
We have an office/test lab in Notting Hill however this role will be primarily a work from home role with occasional trips into the office for testing and other activities that cannot be completed at home.

The successful candidate will enjoy working within a team and value supporting others. They will be  a keen to learn person who also has a high level of thoroughness and accuracy when accomplishing tasks.

Keys to Success

•    Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field or its equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
•    Working knowledge of OO Analysis/Design, Project Management, SDLC and Software Quality Processes.
•    Working knowledge of C#, C++ programming languages.
•    Working knowledge of the gaming industry and jurisdictional requirements.
