Overview

IGT is looking for a highly motivated and ambitious UI/Human Factor Engineer who will help us build world class user experiences.

Responsibilities

The UI/Human Factor Engineer creates, evaluates and modifies prototypes to support evolving hardware and software application development.

  • Create designs of various fidelity depending on needs, ranging from sketching to mockups and prototypes
  • Create and maintain design systems and style guides for our suite of products
  • Work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, customers, and other stakeholders to deliver the best solution possible
  • Develop scenarios, personas, storyboards, journey maps, user flows
  • Contribute to shaping and instilling a UX culture within the entire organization

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree; an advanced degree is preferred.

Experience:

  • 5 years of hands-on design experience with a strong focus on user experience
  • Expert level in Sketch, XD, Illustrator, Photoshop.
  • Premiere and After Effects would be an asset
  • Working knowledge of HTML and JavaScript would be considered an asset.
